LTCF Walk Launches Community Day; Raises Over $10,000 to Benefit Local Lawrence Township Nonprofits!

The Lawrence Township Community Foundation (LTCF) held its 2nd annual LTCF Community Day Walk on Sunday, October 3. Walkers returned in time for the launch of a fun-filled Community Day in Village Park. LTCF is grateful for the generous support of its leading sponsors: ETS, The Mercadien Group, Rider, The Lawrenceville School and Terhune Orchards as well as it supporting sponsors Princeton Porsche and Stark & Stark.

Joan Brame and her dynamic team from Empower Fitness led the walkers in an energetic stretch warm up. Council woman, Pam Mount made opening remarks which set the enthusiastic momentum for a fun and active 4 mile walk through the picturesque Lawrence-Hopewell Trail. Members and families of the Lawrence High School Red Scare band and the cheerleaders as well as Trenton Thunder’s, Boomer contributed to the enthusiastic start of the walk. The generosity of our community members, walkers and sponsors contributed to over $10,000 being raised for the LTCF grant program which supports local Lawrence Township nonprofits. LTCF has distributed over $600,000 to 35+ nonprofit organizations that provide services and programs to help keep our community strong and healthy. Walk Opening
